Emma is a fully registered practitioner with the Equine Shiatsu Association, and is also a member of The Shiatsu Society. She is also fully insured to work on horses with Shiatsu and Reiki.
She has been working with horses for the last 6 years, including horses with 'behavioural issues'; and has experience of a variety of breeds working in all disciplines.
Furthermore she has experience of working with barefoot horses and those trained within the growing 'natural horsemanship' area.
Emma has owned horses for 12 years, and over the last 4 years has become more interested in gaited breeds - culminating with the ownership of an Icelandic horse - and a growing interest in Endurance competitions.
Outside of Shiatsu, Emma has a B.Sc(hons) Agri-Food Marketing and Business Studies, gained at Harper Adams University College in 1996.
2005 - Graduated from The College For Natural Equine Studies with a Practitioners Diploma in Equine Shiatsu.
2006 - Completed Year One (Human) Shiatsu with Genki School of Shiatsu.
2008 - Equine Biomechanics, Gait Abnormalities and Applied Anatomy, certification course with Dr Hilary Clayton (Equinenergy).
